Success!!

One of our biggest fears when breeding plants is the concern of sterile seeds. This happened to the famous hybrid Grosso lavender.

We crossbreed this plant for drought tolerance and shorter harvest times. If you visited the greenhouse during 2009 you might recognize this seedling.

Sping in full bloom


It’s mid spring in the greenhouse and the busy bees of Busy Bee Gardens are busy with over 20,000 lavender plants, if you haven’t see all the lavender plants growing and waiting to be shipped to there new homes in Niagara, Ontario and Canada some are even going oversea then now’s the time to visit. The entire greenhouse smells of fresh lavender, instantly relaxing and claming.

Soon these plants will be shipped out and other essential oil producing plants will take there place. Our retail friendly lavender will be ready April 1st and for the first time ever being offered, limited numbers of three gallons Niagara Lavender. Developed by Robert & Melissa, we are proud to offer a special token of our passion.
